The NCRC&DC partners with other organizations to be more effective. The Resource Conservation Districts within Marin, Sonoma, Mendocino, and Lake Counties are regular partners in many conservation activities, including water conservation. In addition, we partner with California AgLink, Noyo Food Forest, Jughandle Creek and Nature Center, West Company, and others to advance our mission.
The NCRC&DC has been actively partnering with Gold Ridge Resource Conservation District since 2015 on several starte grants to install large, landscape-level water conservation systems in the West Sonoma County area on coho habitat streams. We also support the water conservation projects of other Resource Conservation Districts by assisting with educational outreach. In addition, we recently started to serve as the fiscal sponsor for the Russian River Confluence, whose mission is to drive community action towards a healthy, resilient and regenerative Russian River watershed.
