PICTURE BOOK PROJECT!
We worked with a 4th Grade class at SunRidge School in the spring of 2018 on our innovative science-and-art in the classroom. This project allowed us to teach children about rooftop rainwater collection and storage systems, which we then followed up with an art lesson encouraging the students to draw what they had learned. They drew pixtures to match rhymed couplets, and helped us illustrate a picture book. Their drawings helped them understand the water conservation concepts better, and they truly enjoyed their art projects.
